Aces Waive Kamaria McDaniel

Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has waived rookie guard Kamaria McDaniel.

McDaniel last played in the United States for Michigan State in 2022-23 and signed a training camp contract on Feb. 4, 2024. She still has not made her WNBA debut in a regular season game yet. The Michigan State product spent the past offseason competing in Turkey for Yalova VIP and averaged 37.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 5.4 apg as Yalova posted a 14-14 slate and finished in 8th place. McDaniel will continue her quest to make a WNBA roster after his impressive performance overseas this past season. Rookies guards Dyaisha Fair and Kate Martin will round out the bottom of the backcourt depth. The Aces feel comfortable with the two moving forward into the season.

Season opener around the corner

The Aces, who will play a preseason game against Puerto Rico on May 11 in South Carolina. Tip-off their season against Phoenix at 7 pm on May 14 at Michelob ULTRA Arena. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as prior to the game the Aces will receive their 2023 WNBA Championship rings and unveil their championship banner in Michelob ULTRA Arena.
