Everton defender Tarkowski: Goals will come for Calvert-Lewin

Everton defender James Tarkowski has stressed Dominic Calvert-Lewin's importance.

The centre back spoke about the center forward continuing his recovery from injury.

While Calvert-Lewin was not as his best in the FA Cup against Luton Town, Tarkowski praised the attacker for his work ethic.

He stated, Goals will come for him, I'm sure. He's an important player for us and I thought he linked up well and got in good positions but the ball didn't fall to him.

There were a couple of times I saw him make runs and the ball wasn't played to him.

The goals will come but he brings more to this team than just goals, but obviously I'm sure he wants to put one in the back of the net."
