The Comeback
I'll update everyone on the ankle first - it's fine, felt good. I will keep getting ice and stim on it, but there were no problems with the ankle tonight. I have to give our trainer, Ed Lacerte, credit for helping me get the ankle ready to go. He had me getting stim and icing throughout the day yesterday. I grabbed some ice from his room last night and got more treatment today. It all helped. Then he gave me a great tape job tonight. For the first time ever I got taped directly to my skin and it made a difference. The tape came off pretty good too.
The game, what can I say, great team effort. I've seen comebacks before but I've never been seen or been part of one like that. 24 points, but it really hasn't sunk in yet. We felt we were supposed to win this one from the jump, but didn't start the way we thought we would. Everybody made big shots, Paul made shots, Pose made shots, E House made shots and we got stops - that's how we got back in it. We stayed focused. We've been through adversity all year and knew we could come back. We faced it in game 6 against Detroit. We were down 8 in the 4th and came back to win. We changed momentum in the 4th to win that game and we did that again tonight. That game in Detroit helped prepare us for this. The other playoff series helped get us ready for this. It really is all about mental focus - we never believed we were in trouble. We knew if we kept making runs and got it down to 10 we'd have a chance. We made the extra pass, made the shots and made stops. P was great tonight. He wanted to guard Kobe and stepped up to the challenge
Now the focus is on game 5. Someone asked me if I was excited. I won't get excited until we win the 4th game, then I'll get excited. The next 48 minutes - we give it all we got.

First of all congradulatoins on a heck of a comeback, I have only seen a comeback like that once and that was when the lakers beat San Antonio coming back from a 20 point deficit. Anyway I'm glad to hear your ankle feels better, great job tonight, and I also think Ray Allen deserves props for his key role in the comeback. I hope you get some rest tonight and tomorrow so we can close this series and bring the championship back to the east coast! Again great game sweetie, take care and I definately will be watching sunday!

WOW what a game... biggest emotional roller coaster ever... I was screaming all game long.. at bad calls in the first quarter and the three pointers down the stretch... Been a Boston fan since birth and now I finally get to watch you guys in the finals... can't wait to see the series end and another banner be hung in the garden... Also, I agree with code 707... they leave you open all the time... I know you look to spread the ball and points around... but show them they CAN NOT leave you open... Peace

That was rediculous!!!!! I thought I was going to kick my TV over the first half, but then I realized these are the Celtics...so I hung in there and sure enough you guys pulled it through. Hey Rajon, though this is out of the topic and probably you already know about this but watching the games, I'm pretty sure you could become a big threat on the offensive end as well. Doc was right when he said after game 2 that you need to shoot the ball as well. Yes, you racked up 16 assists but when I look in the game, you had plenty of opportunities to shoot. Man, please promise that you will work hard on your shooting so that by next season, others will respect you more as a threat!!! Have fun in the finals and I hope you truly win this one! Whip Kobe's pride!!!
