Hey Yardbarkers, hope U stayed up for this - WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! All the photos, the interviews, the madness in the locker room and it still hasn't really sunk in yet. But I do know we're a part of history. We just added a banner to the rafters!! And it was great to do it in front of all those great champions - Bill Russell, JoJo White, John Havlicek - all the guys who've made so much history. And the fans were rockin again - but that's nothin new - they've been great all year, every night!! Now we celebrate and I get to share this with all the great players in this locker room - CELTICS ARE CHAMPIONS!! I'll holla

Alright rajon, you pretty much blew everyone away tonight! Your plays were amazing and your steals are what kept you guys so far ahead! I LOVE the way you play, and I don't know if I can wait all summer to watch you guys play again! Garnett had an astonishing day, and we finally saw the "Big Ticket" smile on court! Lovely. I was praying for Allen and his injury, but boy he came back with force. You guys pretty much massacred the Lakers. I am soooooooo proud of the Celtics for an amazing game! I love you all!

You're one of the best rebounding small guards I've seen in a while, great sense for the ball and applied quickness. Your energy tonight was crucial, especially in the third quarter when the Celtics showed no let down and you helped deliver the death blow. You owned Farmar and even Kobe a couple of times. Too bad you weren't ready for that alley-oop from Pierce...if that was an alley-oop?

Great game Rajon-- you had a great performance and spectacular stat line! I think that you are the most under-rate young point guard in the game, just behind Deron and CP3 on offense, and way ahead of them on defense when you focus! Your game has improved so much in the last year-- if you work all summer on your jumper you could be an all-star next year! For this franchise to remain competitive as the big three age, you and the other young guys must continually improve your games.

I noticed that I didn't see you in much of the celebration scenes or pictures..that's so like you... you assisted in making the championship a reality and allowed the ones that paid their dues to be up front. Rajon you played an incredible gave right from the tip-off. You had an amazing year (glad you won the 6th man award this year). I have been a life-long fan since the 60's when I was a kid. We used to listen to Johnny Most on the radio. I didn't have a clue back then how great a team we had. I loved the team in the 80's those were the best games ever (especially against the Pistons). I do admit the past few years I lost interest in the team and couldn't figure out why we were so bad. I had hope at the beginning of the year with K.G. and Ray Allen but was happy just to make the playoffs not ever thinking we would win a Champship. My nephew bumped into M.L. Carr in September and told him that he hopes we would make the playoffs this year. M.L. said "playoffs we're going to win the Championship". We thought he was a little too optomistic but apparantly he knew what he was talking about. Good Luck to Doc. He took a lot of heat the past few years; he deserves this as much as anyone. I haven't been to a Celts parade since 1986 when I had to get a babysitter to watch my kids. This year (tomorrow) we're all going to the Parade. Have a great summer. I wish it was the beginning of the season already !!!

Damn that was CHAMPIONSHIP BALL right there. Well atleast on one side of the court. WE CAME, WE SAW, and WE CONQUERED. damnnnnnnnnnn. BIG 3. i knew we were going to win, but I did not think we'd win the way we did. We Crushed em and thank qod we did. I HATE LAKERS!!! but f that we qot our win and it was worth the wait. I must have watched the second quarter like 3 times, thas where it all started. WE played until the end. That is why we won. Kept pushing the ball up the court, GREAT STEALS by Rondo, GREAT shots by Ray-Ray. Way to go guys, we crushed them.

Rajon, from the time I started watching you play at UK, I always knew you'd be something special. Some of the things you did there literally gave me goosebumps, and I knew that if you could find a good situation you'd flourish. If I bump into you in Louisville in the offseason I'd love to shake your hand. You've done everybody here -especially the UK fans- very, very proud. I've never seen a team more together in ALL aspects than this Celtics Team...physically, emotionally, you name it, this team's got it! Management put together a killer group of young men. Doc Rivers and the coaching staff did a fine job getting this team to hit on all cylinders (super-charged at that!). And there's not enough praise to give to all of the men on this Championship Team!

I know I'm a little late, but it's better late than never. Well I just wanted to say that you played an awesome game. You took shots and scored pt, you played a great defense by shutting Kobe down and getting steals, and shared the wealth with the teammates with assist. I must say, you made me very proud, and my baby got some good burning time... (thanks Doc). Everyone was awesome. Job well done. Now that's what I call bringing Kentucky to Boston. Just perfect!!! Kobe did an excellent job not crying all over the court, at least he waited til he got to the locker room. LOL The only thing I was a little upset about is that you always seem not to get as much credit as you deserve. But we brought home #17, and you just being a part of that made it all worth while. So I guess I'm not going to complain too much. LOL Have fun celebrating and be safe!!!! I love you dearly, always have and always will. And big ups to all the Real Celtics Fans who were always there with all the love and support from start to finish... Thanks!!!

  Yeah, I was alittle disapointed with all the Big 3 fixation. KG really tried to push that aside in his interview. So did Ray. As for him getting props, look no further than Phil Jackson, he mentioned Rondo twice, saying that he killed them, tore them apart, Rondo was the star. Regardless of what the so called experts and commitators say, thats a NBA coach that is well respected giving him major props.
  
  Congrats on your first of hopfully many titles, just wish he could have won one at UK. Would have been scary to see what Billy G would have been able to do with Rondo...

Rondo - For me you made that game - I was so happy to see the Lakers get spanked and I live in LA. :-)
Just in general the whole Boston Team played B-Ball the way it should be played - I could watch that game over and over. I know Paul and Ray and Kevin wanted it but I thought you added this insane element which helped make a huge difference. The wild child on the floor. I was bummed when you only played 5 minutes on Sunday and personally think you guys lost the game because of that. I kept saying why did they take him out? Anyway, I was glad to see you rise above for such a young player. This is a great achivement in your life. Peace T

I felt like you were my child for a minute because I was just so proud of you. From the door you were aggressive and had your hand on darn near every ball! The shots weren't falling at first...but, you stayed with it. And that's how you're suppose to play. I got four hours of sleep last night and was a hot, sleepy, but happy mess today at work. But it was well worth it. I pray y'all keep it up and get another one next year Congrats again, sweetie!!

Nice Game! I love to watch you play. How's K.G. on the team? I live in Minnesota, right by the twin cities and honestly couldn't stand him. He's a good player but really cocky. I love your energy when you play, and your agressive with and without the basketball. You move well without the ball and are always working hard on defense. You had so many steals and you are a very quick guy pushing the ball up the court. I play varsity basketball and it's not as easy as it looks. Well keep up the good work, and I will look forward to watching you play next season. Work hard in the offseason, it pays off.

Oh my God..you did SO good ! I think you had a nice solid game. 21 points, 6 steals, I forget how many assists and rebounds..lol..but you really did make me proud. The whole Celtic team did. It was weird cause I wanted the Cavs to win at first during the Playoffs but that's when I noticed you. It was the first time I seen you play and you automatically became one of my new favorite players. All the dudes in my class keep sayin that all you do is drive to the basket then pass and they think you "weak" but I keep tellin them you don't always do that. Most of the time when you have wide open looks, you DO take the shot. And yeah..you miss a few but you are still a good ball player even when you're not makin shots cause you're good at blocking, stealing, rebounding, and you get a lot of assists. So yeah..anyway sorry for the long paragraph lol but Yeah just keep up what you're doing. I can't wait to go to one of your games ! Love You !!

Yeah, have seen all 5 pre-season games, been breaking down the core guy's play and the new dudes, that chemistry we all saw last year...personally, you look stronger, and quicker...better on Defense, as you seem to bang more...Knicks looked solid tonight, hope Ankle is Ok...looked like a routine sprain...just Like the old Parish types, he used to get in every other game, lol...let's hope it's mild...keep that thing iced and taped...Please, be ready to go for Game #1, and the long journey of Title Defense...I see it's in place this year so far, here's to health...Unity with Doc and all, always...it's been a good lesson for us C's Fans in New England...sky is the limit, the sky is the limit for ya
