WHAT'S GOOD

I know, I know...I haven't posted in a long time, but yall have to understand that I've been on break. After a long, amazing season, I needed a break to just take everything in, enjoy winning, and relax. I've had a great summer. I've done pretty much everything you can think of (well maybe not everything), and I have to tell yall about it all- the ESPYs, vacations, camps, golfing, etc. I'm going to take you on a timeline of my summer thus far, so stay with me. As soon as we won and the parade was over, I had to fly to Louisville. I had to catch the last day of my first camp. I remember being extremely tired because I hadn't slept in about 3 days, and I was running on low fuel. But, I had to be there to see the kids. I really take pride in my camps, and I like to make sure the kids get a quality experience. I know me not being there would have disappointed the kids, so I made it happen. I actually missed being honored at the Red Sox game with my teammates because I had to be at my camp. When I got to the camp, the kids were soo excited. They made me a nice little banner that said "congratulations." I played a couple of games with the kids, talked to them about basketball, and signed autographs for them. They were all excited! I was glad that they had a good time, and that they understood why I hadn't been there all week. I ended up hosting 5 basketball camps this summer- 4 in Louisville and 1 in Lexington. They all turned out good. I actually tried to have one in Boston, but I couldn't because of conflicting dates. I hope I can have one there next year tho. What's next.....Vegas. After my second camp, I went to Vegas with some of my teammates. During the season, we had said that we would go on a trip together if we won the championship, and that's exactly what we did. We only stayed for a couple of days, but it was nice to just chill and not have to worry about playing. After Vegas was the ESPYs. Yall know I think I'm the best dressed on our team, so it was just another opportunity for me to get fly. Me and my girl went out there and had a really good time. We ate good, partied, and hung out with the rest of the team and their families. The show was real nice too. I hadn't ever been to an award show before, so it was a good experience...it was even better because we won! After the ESPYs, I came back to Louisville. I finished up my camps, golfed, and, of course, skated. My golf game has actually improved. I think I'm kind of good now. I've been going pretty regularly to play, and I'm a lot better than I was last year. I'm killing all my homies that I usually go golfing with. Other than golfing, the only thing that I've been doing is skating. Yall know I love to skate. The whole summer, I've been going skating every Friday and Sunday when I'm in town. Skating is a way for me to relax. I go and just be in my own world. After my last camp, I went to Miami on my family vacation. It was about 18 of us...all of my closest relatives. It was crazy! Whenever we all get together, we can't help but to have fun. All the kids got to experience the beach for the first time, the guys got to hang out and party, and the women got to shop. It was perfect for everyone. I love Miami, and I'm glad that my family got to experience it. After Miami, I went down to Houston to chill with Perk. He had a party down there, and me and my girl went down for the weekend. We had a good time. I hadn't seen Perk since the ESPYs, so it was good to catch up with him. We didn't do much...just chilled really. The party that he had was coo. I think ima go back down there before the season starts. Last week, I was in Boston. I went to Boston after I left Houston and stayed for a week. I mainly went to work out. I hadn't picked up a ball since we won, and I figured I needed to jump start my training. I just went and lifted and shot by myself for the most part. I needed to see what shape my body was in. Btw..I'm in pretty good shape. Now, I'm back in Louisville. I will be here for the rest of the week then I'm headed back to Boston for good. I had a few things to wrap up here-that's why I came back. I'm ready for the season to start tho. I want to get back to Boston and start working out regularly. I want to be ready when preseason starts. I hope I didn't lose yall with everything that I talked about. Hope yall aren't too mad that I haven't been posting...just been chillin and enjoying my summer. Be back soon...I'll holla!

OMGSH.... that was LOOOONG! But I was happy to be able to read how ur summer went. Dont worry, I assumed that u would have been relaxing and not wanting to be near computers or any work after the amazing season u guys produced. I want the kind of summer u had! Mine was soo boring getting ready for freshman yr in college... ugh

Anyways... Im sad i didnt see u in Boston.. haha

Good job on trying to get back into shape after that LOOOng summer... continue to work on ur weaknesses...
And focus on the nxt season now!!

Preseason starts next month!

come on dude.....the fact that you think anyone could be mad at you for enjoying everything that you possibly could because you deserve too is beyond me...don't get me wrong...i was checkin the yard every day like this dude must be havin a blast this summer...good lookin on that super long blog tho!! Its good to hear that you have been able to enjoy this time off but just like you most of us can't wait to see you back on that court! have a great rest of the summer...

Hey Boo whats good? Finally I am able to read and comment on your latest blog. Im new to yardbarker and even though your other blogs were a little outdated, I still took the time to read them all, but I didnt want to comment, wasnt sure if you would take the time to go back that far and read them. I know and understand that you still are a little busy.
Glad that you enjoyed your summer and I hope that you were able to do all the things youve wanted to do.
As far as this blog, yeah it was kinda long but it was worth it. Honestly I wouldnt care if you wrote a two page blog, I wouldnt stop reading until I was done. I am a true fan and would love to read about you any all the time. Thanks for keeping us posted. I know youre still a little busy so continue to do you. Hopefully I will see you at the Preseason game over at UMass,if not see you on Oct. 28. I will be there, it is going to be an exciting night.

Hey Rondo, wassup bro? Congrats on the championship! Y'all are the bomb son. My boy tried to tell me that you guys were over rated and as much as he hated the Lakers, he thought they were gonna win the title. he tried saying that Paul couldn't ball, he called garnett garnot. when y'all did them punk ass Lakers 4 games to 1 i had so much fun throwing it in his face! I was so happy you guys won it all and hope you guys can make it back to back baby! your summer sounded like fun. I have to admit I am not usually a Boston fan, but I was rooting for you guys tough. Had to root for Ray Allen after all his years of dedication to the sonics (I'm from Seattle, btw). Good luck next year, Ill be rooting for portland to make it to the playoffs and possibly playing the C's.

So nice of you to write a long one like this so that we can see how much you enjoy your summer. Not so many "famous ones" would do it for their supporters. Now we can't help loving you not only because you are great as a player but have such a great heart!
As a player, really, cannot believe you are that great already in this beginning of your career. So excited to see you improve more again in this coming season. Just keep good shape, and amaze us again!

Rajon, what's going on my brother, it's Unclebill from Springfield Illinois. Congrats on the Championship. We still got those autographed Jordans sitting on the T.V. I have people trying to buy those shoes from me all the time. They are priceless. It's been a busy summer with AAU ball. We want to send at least ten kids to your camp next summer. Heck if you have the time we would like you to do a camp in the Field. We will never forget our trip to the ville and the Love that you showed Springfield Run & Gun Basketball. Keep doing your thing and if you are ever in the field let us know. Our homeboy(Andre Igroudala) throws a Celebrity weekend every year. It's off the chain. I'm glad you had a wonderful and relaxing summer. What a coincedence my family had a vacation at Miami too. I love Miami, it was so much fun. My family also went to Las Vegas! We stayed at the Mirage. What hotel did you guys stay at? and did you guys watch any shows? I'm so happy that you came to your camp and played b-ball w/ the kids. A lot of kids look up to you and they now have hope in their dreams of playing professionally. I was really happy when you guys won an ESPY for best team. You guys deserved it. You have the best teamwork ever. I remember watching you, out of no where stealing the ball from Kobe and passing it to RayRay. Ray Ray then shoots it and makes a 3 pointer. Paul Pierce and KG with the best defense. Such a Great team! The ESPYS were so funny. Justin Timberlake and Greg Oden, LOL! Well thanks for telling us about your summer and apologizing for not posting in a long time. Keep it up!
