Spirit of Giving
Yall know that I am a giver. Last night I did it on the court with 17 assists, and today and earlier in the week I did it off the court with Shaw's. I have teamed up with Shaw's and the New England food banks, for their ninth annual Spirit of Giving food drive. We are trying to urge everyone to donate to their local food banks. Right now, food banks are suffering-they have more food going out than coming in. Because the economy is soo bad, more and more families are in need of help. Many of these families can't even afford to feed their children. That's why I have made a commitment to helping pool as much food as possible for as many families as possible. You can find a cut out of me in all of the Shaw's and Star Market groceries stores in the New England area. To help, go over to my display where you can pick up a $5-$15 dollar bag of food that will be delivered to your local food bank. Times are tough, 1 in 8 Americans do not know where they are going to get their next meal from. But, with your help we can fight hunger this season.

Rondo, you are an amazing guy and I am glad to see that your current status hasnt gone to your head like other players/athletes who get too big headed and cocky when it comes to certain things. You have a wonderful heart and have a good spirit, keep it up.
Lets get this win tonight, I know we can do it, especially with you on our team, lets get it Celtics. have a good game and get your hustle on baby boy.

It's nice to know that an amazing athlete like you is trying to help our country and realizes our struggle with the economy.
It's people like you, who are going to help change and improve the world.
They're the ones who actually put effort and commitment in their work.
I appreciate your help so much! Now many people and I are more aware and motivated to help others. Not only are you a good point gaurd, but you're also a good person. Hopefully President-Elect Obama will help our economy and make it better.
P.S. Nice Triple-Double! :)
Thank you so much,
Tina

My little boy idolizes you (I have to wash his #9 jersey every night because he always wants to wear it), and you continue to prove that you're a great role model. It seems as if the young NBA players like you are really transforming the NBA and increasingly focusing on helping the community.
I'm taking him down to Shaw's this afternoon to pick up a food bag and show him that you're a role model on and off the court. Keep up the good work Rajon

I was wondering how much the player development person means to each individual on the team. Im a season ticket holder and I know that last year Michael Crotty was the person that usually worked before games with each of you at different times. I have noticed he is no longer there. Players are normally creatures of habit and I was wondering if working out with someone during the championship drive and now not being there has affected pregame rituals. Based on your record breaking start Im sure it hasnt meant much but Im just curious.
Thanks and keep the streak rollin

I was just wondering since you did do this spirit of giving food drive so that you could give back to the community, is it really considered giving? But I was wondering since my dad (VP at barber foods, one of the businesses donating) said that it cost them 15,000 dollars for you to make an appearance at Shaw's. If it was truly a charity event, wouldn't it cost them nothing? For example, Barber Foods had a lot to do with Jonathan Papelbon, and it they had to pay him 20,000 dollars for him to come somewhere for 2 hours. So I was just wondering. My posts always make me seem like a jerk but I really don't mean to come across like that.

I was up in NH snowboarding for a few days w/ my bro and the cable in the hotel was down so we went to the local bar and caught the Hawks game.
You rocked Bibby's world...gotta love your move--fake behind the back. Anyways, you are my boy!
