Shut Down

What's Goooood?! ?I'm at home right now...just chillin. ?I thought I would drop yall a few lines. ?It is snowing like crazy in Boston right now. ?We had a snow storm hit us yesterday, and it hasn't stopped snowing yet. ?Actually, I had to go downtown early yesterday and stay in a hotel before the game because of the snow. ?I wanted to make sure I was able to make it to the game on time, so I went downtown before it started snowing-most of the team did the same. ?I've been in the house most of the day. ?I went to practice this morning, and after, a few of the guys came over. ?We just sat around and watched games. ?The snow was too bad to really go anywhere. ?Because of the way it was snowing yesterday, I thought the city was going to shut down, but I forgot this is Boston. ?Everyone is used to it here.

Yesterday's win was great. ?I liked the pace of the game. ?We all played great team ball-40 assists! ?I didn't think that anyone was going to come out to the game, but I was wrong. ?I think there were like 14,000 people that came out. ?That just goes to show you that we have the best fans. ?Thanks yall.

Earlier this week, I spent time with an organization that I work with here in Boston-The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, MSPCC. ?I really love working with this organization. ?Yall know that I love kids, and these kids are the best. ?I like to spend time with them whenever I can, and I had some free time this week so I went to see them. ?

We play New York tomorrow. ?I'm about to lay it down now. ?Hopefully this snow will stop soon so that we can all do our normal pre-game rituals tomorrow. ?I'll holla at yall soon!

Yea, we never shut down for the snow... Im used to these snow storms that u would find me still going out during the snow storm. Last yrs mess was so fun!! I remember my sibs getting home around 9pm bcuz of the traffic from the snow storm... and then found out u guys ended up waiting 6 hrs for the snow storm also...

U guys are playing great.. even with some games that are ugly.. but as long as those W's keep coming I dont care!!

U dont need to continue being shocked.. no matter how much the snow, we're still coming to see u guys play...

Keep doing what u keep doing, and play uf best!! U def deserve to be in the All Star game with the way uve been playing lately!! Shutting down Deron and CP3! :)

Lol! The celtics play a game and you think that people won't come out? NEVER! Who doesn't wanna see you guys win another game? You guys are awesome right about now, and honestly, I can say that the Celtics are an actual TEAM.. that's why you guys can win so much. Even when your not playing well, you guys still come out with the win, it takes a real team to do that. Being #1 in the whole entire NBA, you've gotta love it!

I know you got two games before you come out here to LA, but I hope you guys are thinking about, LA lost again tonight, 2 in a row on their 4-game road trip, just shows how tought the East has become this season. Keep doing your thing, the Rondo-Garnet alley-oop is the prettiest in the League, blows Paul and Chandler out the water! another strong night, rondo. the bulls made a nice run in the 2nd quarter, but as always, the celts owned the 2nd half. i've been working on my fake-behind-the-back-on-a-fast-break-layup... it still needs some work.
looking forward to seeing another TEAR EM UP performance against the knicks.

the snow is crazy here and now we have this new storm. I live on the coast in revere and it feels like the wind is blowing in 2 directions. Its a bad storm we r in right now but i have seen worse. Good luck 2***ht againt the knicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey RR, like the transformation the last 3 weeks or so, of ruthlessly pushing the ball up, and into the paint before most teams can get set...like the fire of the starting 5, with Perk improving along with yourself...like how, even though it's in cement by most of the nation about the superior LA/CLE squads, that our Celtics look pretty damn good....keep below the radar, while most pundits, and most fans sing the praises of CLE and LA...maybe, with a little hard Defense, lol(sarcasm), the C's can be a factor this off-season...keep up the rise to an "assist machine"...40 assists the other ***ht was awesome for team...keep it real, and humble as you and your teammates always do...hey man, you guys miust love Doc as Coach...fair, real, and humble...most of all: here is to "health" for whole team, so C's have a chance ahgainst might LA and Cleveland...and tell KG to call Motumbo

hey rondo! ya Boston is definitely used to this weather, lol. i have live in boston all my life and this is just your average weather. you have been playing great and im excited to see that the winning streak is continuing! good luck tonight against the knicks! im sure you will do fine, your just getting better and better everytime i watch a game. You just never cease to amaze me, do you? You are the BOMB Great game last ***ht you passed your career high in points against the Knicks, 26 points. Told you it was going to get better.
Are you serious about Boston and its beautiful weather,lol 27 years of my live and cant no snow stop me from going anywhere. Call me crazy orjust a die hard fan but I was actually one of the 14,000 people there Friday against the Bulls and I also made it to the game Sunday when we played the Knicks. 18 wins in a row bringing our record to 26-2, thats History and it feels good to be a part of it, I love my city. I know you guys arent concerned too much about the stats or should I say, youre not focused on that. But you have to admit, it sounds good and it must be a wonderful feeling. Im just a fan and I am excited. Anyhow, just wanted to show some love, thanks for the new post. Cant wait for Tuesday game when we play the Sixers, which will bring our record to 27-2, 19 Wins in a row, lol but what will be even better is Christmas Day when you play the Lakers, I smell a sweet victory on the way. Not to get of the subject here, but how do you feel playing on Christmas Day when it is a day for you to enjoy with you friends and family, especially your Little Girl? It must sucks, I cant picture it.
Speaking about the weather here in Boston, How is Glen "Big Baby'' Davis doing? I heard/read about the accident he was involved in, Minor concussion. Hope all is well.

I'm SICK of snow already!!! A foot on Friday and another foot yesterday! You guys are playing fantastic, and there'll always be "13,909" at the Gahden.
I think it's great how I always see the Celtics giving their free time to charitable organizations. The Celts are not only the best team, but the best "people."

You're awesome. Really. I love the way you run the floor and spread the offense. Not too many PGs have to manage three legit first options. I gotta say, though, your FT% is somewhat troubling. It hasn't mattered yet, but when the Lakers show up, you don't want them to play Hack-a-Rondo. Maybe you and Perk need to spend some more quality time at the stripe.

whats good rajon? went to the game las nite against the knicks. That was a great line you put up wit the career high and everything else u did. I got to sit right behind the basket for the warmups because my pops got season ticket holder of the game and you were the only one out yet when i got to my seat. Rondo, you are really amazing... maybe amazing is not enough to describe the play with Knicks... 18 points in 3rd quarter and shooting 100%. We had live broadcast Celtics - Bulls and it's amazing to have 40 assists in a game. And now you got 26 points... the improvement in this season is unbelievable...not only learn from game but also create something belong to yourself. Eager to watch another game with Philly.

snowstorms are the best times to hit up games because you can actually afford the tickets from the scalpers! you should have seen us tredging up a mile's worth of snow drifts on Highland street to get to the T. After the game no taxis were around so we flagged down an EMT and convinced him to give us a lift home...

thanks for making the crazy trip worth it! celts play ball like no other team, that why you are the best!

I am very impressed by your love of the game and most importantly your love of children and the gift of giving!! I am a teacher in North Carolina. My students and I often talk about our favorite teams and players in the NBA, mine being the Celtics, and we speak of how NBA players, such as yourself, go above and beyond that of just being a basketball player, but also a humanitarian and great role model. This is a stretch but I hope if you ever make it down to NC you can pay my class and I a visit. Good luck on your game tomorrow (I'll be watching) and have a very Merry Christmas.

Over the past year, I have noticed your rise through the ranks and eventual rise from under the shadow of the Big 3. You are an incredible player and I think that finally fans and media are beginning to realize what makes the Celtics go. Rondo, let me first admit that I just begin to watch basketball again two years ago. The last time that I followed the game I was a young girl in middle school and Jordan was in his glory days. But, when I begin to watch the game again you quickly caught my eye. You are a great player. And your game as improved A LOT since I first saw you play. I was in Boston about four years ago at one of my performances, and I was so glad to leave that city. It was soooooo cold there. I am not use to that kind of weather. We do not have that type of weather in North Carolina. Also, it is a great thing that you do with the kids. So many people come up and forget about those who are not as blessed as they are. Keep up the good work with the children, so many of them need that positive guidance. With so many celebs being seen in such a negative light and having such a negative impact on youth, we can use all of the positive influences that we can get.

This Christmas holidays must be frustrating for you, and for us all, though we do know that it doesn't matter if we get to the playoff and win the Championship again. Frustration is one of the best nutrition for the growth. I look forward to see results out of these loses in West, and I fully trust you'll take the best of it. All my faith in Celts! Yea, we are, we're going to be getting 2-4 inches I heard. It was snowing last night too, and I was surprised, cuz I thot the snowing was over with. Luckily Rondo, you'll still be on the West coast, so you wont have to worry about the snow. I agree with Celtics love, Ive gotten really tired watching the game at 10pm... and having them end at 12am or later... Good Luck on tonight's game!!

Rondo, you have really impressed me. I remember when Garnett was hurt and you stepped in. You played o.k., but you got good so fast it was incredible. You are worth your paycheck my friend, and never doubt yourself. You seem to have a kind spirit and a polite soul. Always keep those, but you have no reason to think your shouldn't be as confident as the best playes we have had. Winners don't need to be cocky, loud, or emotional. You have a peaceful, calm yet strong way about you. You are great, and the more people say your not, the greater you have become to them!!!!! Go Celtics!!! I saw your game last night, and wow, you are fast and threatening!!!
