RIVALS

Its been a long day for me. This morning we had practice at the Garden, so I rode down with Perk. He's my neighbor so we sometimes ride together. Once I got down to the Garden, I watched some film...then had to do media. After media, I went to practice. Then after practice, I shot behind the back half-court shots with Ray...just having some fun. On the way home me and Perk had an interesting conversation. We started talking about the Celtics/Lakers rivalry and how we were babies the last time the Celtics/Lakers were playing against each other in the Finals. It's crazy because this is big, and we only have to win 3 more games. We gotta get it! Speaking of rivalries....what about the Obama/Clinton one? I guess the contest is over now since Obama won. But Clinton gave a good fight. I liked how Time Magazine copied the NBA commercials with the split cover of the two candidates. After the Finals, I plan on paying more attention to the campaign. I'm interested in learning more about what the candidates have to say.

Rajon I have been a Celtic fan fon for some time, but a UK fan even longer. I am old enough to be your grandfather and have so much enjoyed your success. I watch the play offs because of you and wish nothing but the best. I really hope Joe joins you in the NBA next year, what a great year he had.

Rajon I really surport your point here because things to do with rivalries somehow very tricky and dangerous. You see pataining to Obama and Clinton I realy liked Clinton on the way she had to admit the deafit over Obama. Its not like In Kenya where i live. Leaders here dont repect each other when it comes to power wich is not a good thing to human beings and when they are in power they are not leaders but Bosses. first off, so many people copied the NBA commercials! its kind of funny.. but also, I am so pumped that Obama won. I have nothing against Hillary, but I got the chance to see both of them in person and Obama just seemed like the better candidate.

Thanks for sharing your day with us Rajon. Its interesting to hear about what you guys do off of the courts. It's great to hear that you are interested in the presidential campaigns. When top athletes like yourself take a notice to it, it really helps younger people get involved as well. You seem like a great role model!

I can't wait to watch the game tonight even if it means I have to stay up late and still get up to go to work tomorrow morning, it is worth it to see The Celtics play. Good Luck tonight, keep up the good work and make some history!

I'm a big advocate of carpooling, so it's great I can now tell people that even NBA players carpool. Good for you, guys! About Obama/Clinton, I can't stop hoping they run together. That would be a strong ticket.

Rajon, you played well in game 1. I was up in section 314 and we got a Rondo cheer going in the 4th quarter to get Doc to get you back in the game. Stay aggressive tonight and keep DFish in check.
Your name had better be on the All-Star ballot next year. I think you've established yourself as a top 5 PG in the league. I hope you are like Paul and stay a Celtic your entire career.

I am glad u are encouraging the election. I am 19 myself, and I think it is a big issue that young ppl are not voting like they should. If they seem someone they look up to interested in the election, I hope they will show interest too :)

It's great to hear that your life consists of more than b-ball. I take great pleasure listening to the athlete's speak at the press conferences, just knowing everyone that I've listened to speaks well, you, ray, kg, pierce, and others of course. Thanx so much for contradicting all the stereotypes about pro athletes, especially african americans......and even using that term, african american, just don't sit well with me for some reason, but I guess it is what it is, anyway, contrats to you all and thanks for giving me a glimpse into your private life, I guess that's what fans do, we seek knowledge about interesting figures that impact our lives mostly for better!!!!!

WOW this is crazy I can talk to you though here man thats nuts. Congrats on the awesome sseason and as a life long celtics fan thank you. I couldnt make it to any games this year being a student didnt have the money. So when you guys did the rolling rally I got to go up and see you guys and man it was well worth the wait just seeing how much you all enjoyed being there made it so much better . I just read you were giving away signed headbands for triva thats awesome will you be doing any more like that .
