"O"

As you all may already know, we had Orlando tonight...and we lost. It was a tough game cuz Orlando has a really talented team. We went down by like 20, but we rallied back and had a chance to win, but it didn't work out that way. We played hard though, and I think we did a pretty good job tonight. Like I've been saying we are still coming together and finding what works. We had a good run 8-0, and now we just have to regroup and go back out a play even harder in the next game. Like KG said, we weren't going to be 82-0, so we just have to bounce back. All is still good in the Celtics world though! As far as last week, it was a good week. Wednesday we got a W against New Jersey, and Friday we got W against the Heat. Both were good games. Miami was a close one though. I watched a lot of film to prepare myself for those games. Right now I'm in Orlando still. We go back to Boston tomorrow. We got here early Saturday morning, so we've been here for a minute. This is where Doc lives so we always come a lil early and stay a lil later when we play Orlando. Yesterday, we went over Doc's house once we got here. He had a nice lil BBQ over there for us. Then after that I went to the mall. The millennium mall is nice...I always like to go to it when I come to Orlando. Right now, I'm about to go eat with some of my teammates. I'm a lil tired, and once I get back from eating I will be laying it down. I'll holla!

Maybe you should work on the handles instead of the shot, costly turnover at the end cost you the game. Also, when you have a chance, please ask Doc why the best play he could come up with is Pierce driving to no man's land underneath the basket then having to kick the ball out? Terrible play calling, and make sure you get KG the ball more on the inside, Perkins can't finish around the basket.

I agree, you had a nice 8 game run to start the season, just don't get back on track on Nov. 24th when y'all come to the Bobcats Arena. I'll be sitting at the back of section 107, in the fold-put chairs,which is the section behind the visitor's bench. Make sure to bring your C game so we at least have a fighting chance. Other than that, good luck the rest of the year!

i blame paul for the loss, seriously though, a 3 pointer? (and at that a horrible shot) instead of a two for a tie or a two and one for the win? that was horribly thought out man, he was going to the hole almost the whole game and for the last shot he shoots a three.....its mind boggling, yall could have won that one. sorry for the rant though.

When I saw Magic on the schedule I knew it'd be a game. They're a deep squad, especially at the 1 & 2 .. great work though man on the "J" it's clear to everyone you've been working hard on it. Howard is some player. I thought you guys were more aggressive driving to the bucket then against Miami, but those are 2 tough games against dominant big men. Not sure why Howard kept reacting the way he did to what I considered regular fouls, but as a team you guys didn't back down and personally I think the Magic realize they stole one from us. Anyways it's great to see you all playing such a team game. When I see the team's assists at halftime I can't help but smile.

I can tell you're getting a good grip on the NBA now that you've had some real pt and experience. With all the new pieces, and you learning more, and learning about each other, you'll be rolling in the playoffs. You guys are bringing the Celts back to the glory days.
We wish you were still running the point as a senior at UK though this year. Ha Ha. But I appreciate the time you did have there, and I hope you have a great NBA career.

You're doing a great job Rondo. I can't believe people blame Paul for the Orlando loss. 28 pts on 58% shooting, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and he supposedly cost the Cs the game? What a joke! I think they lost because Rivers kept KG at center when he can't handle Howard.

Rondo man, I see that all the hard work on the jumper is starting to pay off. The offense doesn't seem to go as well when your not drivin and dishin. Why have they had you get away from that the past 4 games?

Rajon -- we all love you, and I hope you don't mind a tough question -- do you agree that in the Orlando game, you passed up a fairly open shot towards the end? A lot of fans have said they wished you took that shot. KG ended up getting a three-seconds call on the play.
I hope this doesn't seem nitpicky. You are doing a great job and capturing the hearts of the fans.

Okay this is the only problem i have with Rajon..... You're not a pass first PG. And with a team that consists of KG, PP, and Ray Ray. thats kind of what you need to be. I think Orlando did a great job of exploiting that weakness (although i do blame PP for that loss). But, i would like to know what Rajon thinks about being a guy who gets more assists than points.

Keep up the great work! I'm loving all the ball movement and the incredibly improved shot! The Orlando game was a bummer, but the reffing of the game was horrendous. The Magic are a budding team with Howard, Lewis, and Nelson, and I definitely see an east-coast rivalry forming between the C's and Magic. I'm finally proud to be a Celtics fans (lets just say I took a lot of crap during the 33 and 24 win seasons) and I've got to thank you for that. Good luck against the Lakers tonight! 81-1!

K, two questions:

1. What nickname do you have on the team? I was about to type "Double R" but that sucks. KG seems like the kind of guy to give everyone a nickname as soon as he meets them, so you've gotta have a few good ones!

2. After watching the Orlando game, it elft me wondering, you're a bigger 1 than most guys out there, and it seems like you excel at playing physical D, so which other PG in the league do you feel you match up best against - someone big like Daron Williams, or someone smaller but shifty like Jameer Nelson?

3. Best restaurant in Boston?

I am a diehard UK fan and hated to see you leave but it seems in the long run, you made the right decision. I will add that I have ALWAYS been a die hard Celtics fan as well but when my favorite cat became my favorite Celtic..........Well you get the idea. Keep up the good work Rajon!
