Coming Home for Game 6

We fought tonight, but in the end, it wasn't enough. I know I will be breaking down film tomorrow to see where I could have been better. It's going to be a long flight back home, but it will give me plenty of time to reflect. I have confidence in my team, and I'm sure we will bounce back! I'm going to need to see and hear all the fans on Tuesday in the Garden. Like KG says, "...keep that mother#*%!@$ rocking." Until then, I'll holla!

Yeah you can't keep the C's down for long man, you guys will bounce back like P was sayin during the Texas trip. If your ankle is 100% be aggressive and look for your shots man! Those little runners in the lane mixed up with some nice finishes should be cake for you.

I agree that the slow starts are not beneficial and that if we can attack the Lakers from the moment the ball is tossed up, their confidnece level will will drop. Tonight's game was a close one with so many opportunities to take the lead and capture the win. Free-throws were another aspect that hurt us tonight, if we capitalize on the free-throw opportunities we will definately win game 6. Rajon I hope the ankle is much better, good luck on tuesday, take care and as always I will be watching!

I thought you guys fought back just to show that you can come back whenever you want. Some where deep down you guys wanted to win in Boston. Boston is so much better than LA, and Gasol and Odom will struggle in Boston bad. LA never feels safe with any lead because you guys tighten the defense and make plays. If you guys get off to a good start LA doesn't have a chance. LA got two very close games, but in Boston the calls won't go their way. The don't have poise at home and will crumble in Boston.

Finish this up. Adding Perkins back to the line up will give you guys the defense to shut down Odom and Gasol and take game 6. You can do it just play your hardest.

My first time writing in the blog and I was just curious why you are being so tentative? It seems like you had many open shots tonight and opportunities to go to the basket for easy open layups and you passed instead? Are you afraid that someone will foul you and cause you to reinjure your ankle more? I understand it is good to pass as you are a great passer but Kobe is definitely laying off you because he doesn't respect you. Think about that for a minute. NO RESPECT. You deserve that respect when you shoot the lights out as we know you can and/or drive to the basket hard as we know you can. By penetrating into and around the paint will either A. allow you to shot and score, B. allow you to pass or a layup or C. allow you to pass and your teammate scores. The defense always collapses when you penetrate with your awesome speed. Take it to the basket and the paint area on Tuesday and show Doc and the world why you led this team to 66 wins. Try not to force it but feel the defense and go from there. Get that confidence back. I know when you mess up it always feel like you have Sam hanging over you but when you play good Doc has no choice but to keep you in. Have fun and when you guys win it Tuesday I will be happy for you all. Bring home the 17th for us all. Peace and may God be with you Tuesday.

Hey I've recently become a die hard celtics fan, and i gotta tell you that yall are really close to this one. It only makes sense that yall win it back home so that definately shouldn't put you guys down. Just keep being aggresive and you guys are good at what you do. It may seem like its getting tough, but you haven't made it this far for nothing. I really wish Ray Allen got more baskets, but i sure hope his child's feeling better. Kevin is truly amazing and great at defense it just the foul trouble is a pain in the butt. Hope perkins feels better. Pierce did amazing, he got in the paint made his drives and picked up fouls. Thats what needs to be done. You guys can pull it together. Good Luck. You're an amazing team... believe it!

if lakers were on fire to keep the series going and you got close to taking the lead - you can really win this thing. i hope everyone perfects their jumpshots, as it's getting more hard to penetrate the basket with most of the key players being injured. I wish the crowd will energize you in G6 and keep a big lead and stave off the lakers to the last buzzer. my prayers are with you to win this on tuesday. :)

rondo, when you go to the hoop, and you're wide open...take the layup! You're sick when you drive, and when you kick it out for a 3 pointer for paul pierce it isnt as automatic as you driving to the hoop. Pierce played well once again, and losing Perk was a big blow. Too bad you couldn't win it in front of Big Jack Nicholson, now you'll just have to keep that mother ****** rocking in boston baby.

Hey Rondo, i think that your issue is when you drive down the lane you always pass the ball when you can make the easy layups. Shoot more and anticipate the passes on defense. so, what a game 5...down the stretch the lakers almost lost the lead again but once again its la baby....paul pierce is a scoring machine but he is being over played...dock rivers though the celtics were gonna win it at our house?? not likely..our lakers are up to the task of the " DO OR DIE' situation...its going to be one for the record books....its hard for me to digest the fact that all of the sudden people who dont know a thing about basketball are celtic front runners....phil jackson has a plan..the lakers have the tools and the mvp....now, i feel that game 6 is anyone's game because boston came in with the mind set that it was a 4 sure wrap.. someone better tell those bean town ballers that its not over till its over....ill give credit to paul pierce but this finals chapter is far from over.......so the pic above with the dog in the celtic jersey, that pooch better stay on a leash because the lakers pit bull is on the run.......

Even though you guys lost the game you did good towards the end but i think paul pierce should guard kobe in game 6 because paul pierce does a good job guarding Kobe and i also think that when u drive you should shoot instead of passing it sometimes because you will likely get fouled by a laker when you shot anywhere in the paint mostly down low like a layup but other than that just do what you've been doing good all season. But yo once aqain i wanted to shoot my t.v screen last night, Kobe should have been called for a foul on the steal from Pierce, so since he wasn't i knew that was the end all of that. Plus i did not want you guys to win in L.A i am sure you guys would have loved to, but we want you guys at home. so we can show that love that you guys oh so need. Ya'll put in some work this season, and man did it show. You know this is just the beginning with a crew like the one you guys have, there isn't a team that can stop us. Play that defense like i know you guys can. Play as hard as you can, because believe me you do not wanna have any regrets at the end of the day. BELIEVE, because not only does Boston fans believe, so does the rest of the U.S. it can happen, it will happen. Celtic Champions. No game 7. Blow the roof off at the Garden, piss Kobe off. Nice comeback last night even though it wasn't enough. When you are in the game you establish the pace and keep the ball moving. One thing that i have noticed is that you are hesitant about taking the open shot... don't be hasitant if its there take it with confidence(you're a better shooter than most people think). Good luck in game 6.

Hey Rajon, You seem to have plenty of confidence but to be thruthful, you should have taken that 'layup' when you had you man beat..that to me showed a total lack of confidence in your game..you need to step up and take that layup when it presents itself.

the mental picture of you keeps flashing in front of my eyes---of the numerous intense games against the CAVS and LEBRON...we (BOSTON CELTICS FANS) were on the edge of our seats wondering who would save our team in this battle...(against an over-sized-ass baby boy named lebron that is)

suddenly, we would hear the commentator remark..."here comes rondo, the young point guard from Kentucky."

and there you would go. there'd you go boy...there'd you fly, just like super man baby.

every night, we would watch in amazement as you would steal the ball ever so elegantly from the opposing side and make it look fully and utterly effortless. play after play, your shear, immense professional excellence would simply bring smiles to each and every one of our faces.

I hope you get this message because i wanted to let you know how awesome an athlete you really are. One word of advice...if Kobe sags off of you...SHOOT IT. i know you can do it. Give it some arc, and it'll go in, if not, KG has your back :) i also wanted to tell you that i am getting a 9 week old puppy (golden retriever) on Wednesday, after game 6, and i named him Rondo! I tell everyone that i named him after you and they LOVE it. Unfortunatley i haven't been able to find a Celtics shirt with your name on the back of it, but i'll keep trying. I came to the Garden and watched you play the Pacers on April 2nd, too bad i was i think the highest seat in the arena. haha. Anyways, Good luck tomorrow night, i know you'll do amazing, don't hurt the ankle again, and keep on wearing that headband proud. i love it. And...don't stop being so cute!

I know you will find the best Shooting Coach money can buy or you can afford. You are way too talented to stop getting better. It's obvious what part of your skill set is lacking, but it so easily correctable and this off season you owe it to yourself to get right to work on that jumper kid.

No one is really worried about these soft Euro-Lakers coming into Boston and making History... Kobe or no Kobe... Croos that fool over and take it straight at him. Handle yours Rondo!
