China

Nihao. I just got back home from Beijing, China. I went over there for Nike's All Asia Camp. Me and Aaron Brooks made the trip over there for Nike, and I have to admit that I was a little nervous about going because of the 13 hour flight. I don't like to fly at all, so when I found out that the flight was 13 hours, I was a little hesitant. I'm really glad that I made the trip though-it turned out to be one of the best trips that I've ever taken. I got the chance to interact with the campers-I did drills, played some games, and coached the Asia Pacific team in the All-Star game (my team won). I also got to experience some of the city. I went shopping a couple of places, climbed the Great Wall, had an in store Nike appearance, and caught up with Yao for dinner one night.

While I was over there, I wanted to make sure that I experienced as much of the culture as I could. Every morning I ate Chinese food, I learned some of the language, and I tried to interact with as many Chinese people as I could. I was actually pretty good at communicating because a lot of people told me that my Chinese was very good. I'm even thinking about learning more Chinese so that whenever I go back , I will be able to communicate better. Overall, it was a great trip and one of my most memorable experiences. I want to thank all of my fans over there for making me feel welcome. I look forward to going back. Xie xie.

That is so cool ive always wanted to go to China. It seems like such a cool place! Last summer i went to London and Rome and just like you did, i had a very memorable expierience. Ive been hearing alot of trade rumors about you and ray, can you tell me anything about it? I hope you'll be coming to KY soon! Have a good summer!!

My husband is at Harvard studying Chinese! We've been to China a few times, it's a great place! I had a hard time with the food because I am so picky but once you know what you like, it's pretty awesome!

Glad you had fun!! Its always great to learn new cultures, & being there first hand to actually see how things are done, and said. I've never been to China, but hope to one day!

I've been in China a couple times and I have to say that no matter how well (or poorly) you speak the language, Chinese people will always tell you that you that your Chinese is very good. It's the effort they take into account and I'm glad you made the effort :)

One of my friends is studying for his MBA and he is spending the summer in China. This is his second trip, he went for 2 weeks during spring break. He is also learning Mandarin. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Hey Rajon! I am glad that you overcame your fear and made it all the way over seas to China. I don't know if i could eat chinease food for breakfast though, but commend you for doing it and making the trip. You are an inspiring athlete and i look up to you and the work you do with the young community all over the world!
And all the rumor about you possibly being traded to the Pistons, THANK GOD that isn't happening.. it would suck to watch my favorite player on my least favorite team...

If Danny does anything, it better be to lock up Rondo for the next 5-6 years. If not, the BOSTON CELTICS will pay for it in many ways. Like Rondo is one of the most loved players at home and on the road. Fans go crazy for him, his young looks and wild play make him at hit for fans. That's just the Media part of it. He already is a top 4-5 PG in the league and has more potential than the few who in some eyes are rated higher.

Rondo - You have a special opportunity along with P to go down as one of the greatest Boston Players. Any Basketball fan knows how special that is. That is why you will never see Kobe play for anybody else. MJ should have never played for anybody else.

For all the haters, yes he still has a lot to prove but so did the other guys at his age.

Danny has gone insane. Hopefully it is a temporary infirmity, like the common cold. Rondo, our mostest bestest favorite player, is only 0.3 shy of averaging a triple double in the playoffs while Danny just sits there in a seat watching... NOBODY ELSE in the nba playoffs did that, not even the beloved Kobe or Lebron. Rajon stepped it up. Now, what did Danny do? He failed to resign Posey who had real chemistry w/ the team hitting big time shots & playing diving on the floor defense. He failed to sign Chris Andersen when he had the chance. Just look at all the blocks & energy the Bird Man had for Denver. He failed to draft Mario when he had the chance who was nba ready & a starter & could have been a great back-up for Rondo so Rajon could actually take a breather. 0 for 3. Hey Danny, how about getting that plank out of your eye before you try to take the speck out of someone else's eye. If you have something negative to say about ANY player, how about talking to them personally instead of blathering some nonsense in public? Rondo, you played really hard while Danny just sat there. I hope Danny didn't strain his gluteus during the playoffs... I pray that Rajon can be gracious & show his great maturity by just overlooking the bumbling Aingle's inane comments. Us fans still think you are wonderful Rondo & that Danny is a blockhead.

Rajon, I don't know if you really read these, but, you're the reason I got back into watching Celtics basketball. I think you're hands down the most entertaining player in the NBA. The Celtics are clearly worried worried that after this upcoming season you're going to sign else where.. since as of now you are the most under paid player in the NBA for what you contribute. You're the future of the franchise.. they better wisen up and free some capital real quick.. and sign you for the long run. You're heads-up style of play is going to put you in the hall of fame, mark my words. You're the most versatile player on this team.. questionably in the entire league. Only Celtics fans that watched you all season can truly appreciate what you bring to the table. Regardless, I'll be a fan of yours 5 years from now.. wherever you may be playing.

Keep it real, I'll be in tears if you leave the team bro.

I'm glad you appreciate China and had a good time! I'm an American Born Chinese and it was very rewarding to see China for the 1st time 5 years ago. Makes you appreciate what my ancestors went thru to create the life we have now!
