Celtics Championship Parade!!

We've all seen these parades on SportsCenter, the highlights of fans lining the streets, going crazy, but until you're in one I'm tellin u... U HAVE NO IDEA!! The madness was crazy. Not sure how many people were out there but it seemed like millions. It was just a sea of green, people everywhere. All ages. And they were going crazy. Some of u were probably there makin all that noise, and trust me we heard ya. And if u weren't there u will see on the highlights and you will wish u were there. It was a day filled with confetti, music, screaming and Green, Celtic Green. The celebration was off the hook, one that none of us will ever forget. Everything started this morning. We met at the facility at 8:45 and took the team bus to the Garden. We had police escorts down. When we got to the Garden, we saw all the people in the streets... it was crazy! We were all assigned Duck Boats to ride through the city. I was on #16. I was inside the Duck Boat at first, but when we pulled out of the parking lot, I went and stood on the back. MAN...IT WAS AMAZING. It felt soo good to see all the people that came out. I'm telling you that there's nothing in the world that tops that feeling. The signs that people had were great...there were some real funny ones. E. House was on the Duck Boat with me, and we pointed out the best signs to each other. I'm telling u it was some crazy ones! I think E. House coined how we all felt on the Duck Boat when he said, "We went from basketball stars to rock stars in one day." That's how I felt...like a rock star.

The memory on my camera ran out just before your boat got to me. I had to delete some things, and chase you down the street for two blocks, but I finally got a shot. It was great being out in the sea of green. Thanks for helping bring back the old Celtic Pride.

Rajon, sending our love from all your fans from kentucky. I am now the proud owner of a #9 celtics jersey. I live in ohio now but i was at school with you and it was great watching you play there.
Everytime i went to a game i lost my voice for minimum 2 days following. Live it up and all you guys be safe celebrating. I recently saw Ramal perform at a concert. it was amazing he is a talented guy. Your my second favorite NBA player of all time, sorry man Chuck Hayes holds a special place in my eyes. Rajon, I am glad you and your teammates were able to see how much the city of Boston and your fans appreciate you. I bet the parade was full of excitment, love and fun! I think it is wonderful that you and the Celtics have so many fans in state as well as out of state. Again congrats on a great season and a phenomenal final seires! That was FUN! For local folks, the rolling rally is going to be On Demand, so you can catch it on your cable in case you missed. it. Instead of yelling "take it off"... did folks tell Big Baby to "put it back on!!" ;)

ohh wow, i saw the pictures in the newspaper and it looks-chaotic and fun! but pictures are just a moment frozen, so i wonder what it was like to actually like be there. I'm so happy for you guys (the celtics) and winning the championship. It was all over in the end of the second quarter. Congratulations! Hey buddy you deserved it. You were the one that setup the Celtics win in game 6 and set the momentum. I know that so many players steped up in that game but you played the best out of everyone. The team flows so well with you on the floor. You have a very bright future in the NBA and I hope that you are a Celtic for your carreer. Think of how many 2nd year guards who have had the sucess you have had. Not to many. Everyone says the big three but I really believe that if you where not on the team they may have not gonre this far. You bring that spark that a championship team needs. Dear Rajon,
I'm glad you felt like a ROCK STAR!!! I still can't believe the Celtics won. Everybody in my family watched Game 6 that night. I even got closer with my grandpa by watching and talking about the finals. We're now Basketball Buddies. Thanks Rajon, for making basketball fun and exciting to watch. I now enjoy watching the NBA playoffs whenever I visit my grandparents.

im so happy for yall!! Yall deserved the championship this year and im glad, all that Celtic pride got to come back and prove that Celtics can take over and win!! Celtics are so amazing and were so amazing Rondo on Game 6, you were Play of the Game in my heart!! I promise you so totally got that in the bag and u really proved to everyone that the Celtics are the baddest in the game!!

one word of advice: next time you guys should put your names on the duck boats like they did for the Red Sox...it was hard to know who was on each one!...just a thought for when you boys win again in the future *note: WHEN you guys win!

Where were you at the Red Sox game? I was so bummed, that was the only thing that could've made yesterday better, [and maybe better seats at the Sox game, too....] :(... You should've been there it was pouring and it was SO loud, it seemed like it should be in a movie, it was amazing!

Rondo!

I unfortany couldnt go to the playoffs or the parade not because i dint want to but
i dint want to go alone but i dint miss one game. Im luck enought on the 2 jobs that i have
at night have tv so i was always watching the game and trust me everytime u guys won
i went to bed with the biggest smile and when u guys loose i get kinda worried and sad
but thats over cuz WE WONNN! Anways, your my favorite player of course i love the
other players and if i dint i wouldnt lovethe celtics i would just love Mr, Rondo. I think all
of you are amazing but your myyy favorite! I dont know you personaly of course but from
what i can see you seem to be such a chilled guy, and what i love the most is when you
get hurt or hit by somebody you just get up and cotinue playing. You dont freak out and
swear i just love that! I would love meet you in person so the next time u guys play at the
garden trust me ill BE THERE! sscream ROONNDDOOOOO MMAARRRYY MEEEE! Im gona buy
season ticket so i can be always there to cheer and see my amazing team called celtics!
So you'll have to see me sum day lol ill make sureeee ull at least look at meee!

I know that I'm one of your most loyal fans. Have followed your b-ball career for awhile, most intensely during the playoffs and finals, and I think you've played G.R.E.A.T.!!!! I have posted comments abt. your play all over when articles have been written about you, given you much deserved adoration and compliments, although I said you look like you're only 15....but since I saw the "Lounge Chair" pic on this site.....I TAKE THAT BACK!!!!!!.......OMG....U R GORGEOUS...don't trip, I'm a female b-ball fan(no disrespect to your wife or girl) whichever, but....OMG.....I wasn't expecting that!!!!

oh i wish i could have been on the boats with y'all just to see all the people
my brother was pissed that the parade was so short but we got on the train and went to Arlington and watched you guys go by all over again
I was just amped period
all those people gave me a rush
great parade and I felt like a rock star (don't know why)
but I know the feeling and I'm glad you felt it too!!!
Here's my sign I made it that morning so it's not that clean....

i was ever so lucky to witness this historical event! it's going to be remembered for years and years to come for sure...i had TONS of fun! seeing the entire team with the trophies in person is simply a Celtics' fan dream come true!!! it was amazing and seeing you, RAJON RONDO, was spectacular.

rondo!-- i saw some very interesting and funny signs as well haha! can you remember which ones you saw? I'm curious to know which ones you found funniest :)

also, I'm glad to hear that you felt like a rock star- a statement like that shows your appreciation for where you are.

one thing i gotta say is :
baby you IS a rock star. and you deserve to feel like one after all that hard work and dedication you've put in!
